Hello RangerNet!

PostAuthor: ccm2361 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 12:02 am

Hello all!
My name is Chris. Mark knows me from RangerForums. (Hi Mark!) Since the temporary demise of RF I have been starving for some good Ranger chat & chanced across this place.

A bit about me:

I am 42, married. We have 2 kids-Daughter age7- Son age 5.

Saved 8/26/2007
recruited into RR 9/02/2007

I am Senior Commander of a Michigan Outpost We are a small outpost. (14 boys, 2 Commanders) I teach DR & AR, ( 9 boys total) by myself at the moment. my Lt. Commander is taking some time off due to health issues & may not be back. My wife Christi is our RK Commander. she has 5 boys including our son Andy. Andy earned his Elk in May, was selected to be RK Patrol Guide. I am quite proud of the lad, as he is on track to be an Outpost ROTY this year. (mostly because the top 2 RK boys moved up to DR ;) )

We are both relative newbies when it comes to RR. I had never heard of RR before 2007 & have only been Sr. Commander since January, when our previous Sr. Commander moved to New Mexico. (I was RK Commander prior to that time)

I was quite pleased to hear from Pastor that a guy (whom I have had my eye on for a while now) has decided to join RR! He is a outstanding member of the church-very committed. He has been helping with Pastor's adult bible study class, but recently had a son. Now he feels a desire to join us. PRAISE GOD!!!! I am so pleased, as he had some previous experience with Rangers at another church. Better yet he is willing to teach once he gets some training!!!!! Woo-Hoo!

The Lord is good! We just started AR in May & I have been struggling with teaching both DR & AR by myself.

anyway, enough about me!

Good job on founding "Ranger Chat".. *So far as I can tell it's a big improvement
as long as you keep the "Cat Herd" from going wild. ;)

about what?

Ranger forums or Ranger Chat?

Assuming you mean Ranger Chat......here goes.

you say you pledged the Ranger code, Part of pledging the ranger code is "...make the golden rule my daily rule" treating others as you like to be treated. You don't seem to do that too much. When anyone calls you out for not practicing the code you pledged to; you accuse them of beating you over the head with the code like it's law.

its simple courtesy Doc.

for example

Rank Stranger A#1 wrote:You are "Baiting me"

Your duty is to love me, prefer me..
If you can't.. You don't love God.

-Of course you knew that
How about sorting this thread into Ranger games...
under: DOG PILE!

I don't need 'reigning in.. or a Buckaroo to break me.
*So dismount, take that saddle off and open the gate.

You run very close to witch craft.

Wise me up to the games the Moderator plays back on Rat Fink (RF)

He's a Royal pain in my side I've moved camp once because of
his unique personality traits, and may move again..

*Currently I have him working to translate the Bible verses into english.
I hope the wurd of God pop's in his head, for a word to wise is sufficent.

Yup.. this is the most Bible thump'n I've ever tackled and
it's all due to the moderator following me around trying to
trip me up into sin.

explain to me the ambush style of Ranger fellowship
invented by you Chris and your lap dog "Moderator"

any of that sound courteous? how would you feel if others posted that way towards you?
When I warned you about your antagonistic & sarcastic posts-all I got is more antagonism. That is why I banned you.

Some Ranger Chat members have asked me to give you a second chance, I am considering that. part of my decision depends on prayer and the outcome of this conversation.

what say you?

Internet conversation often trips people up when you read
text, and do not know the *spirit of the man.

What's more likely, is you and I come from differing cultures,
backgrounds and eras- You have your understanding.. and I have
my *Vision of a long line of "Missing in action" that confuses you.

I am MORE the member of the "missing dead" than a active
promoter of the current version of RR, so that flavors my posts.

Consider that..& All my hero's have left, the latest being Chap. Jeff-
He said it all better-

Re: Ranger Chat- Rat Fink?

Rangernet always promoted free speech and knew what it meant.
